Roast pork with plums
Serves 5
Ingredients: 1Kg clear fillet pork
5 dried plums from our garden
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon English herbs ready-mix
Preparation :
1. Make a hole in the pork and stuff the plums
2. Fry it for a little while so the juice will stay in the meat
3. Rub the meat with the herbs the salt and the pepper and wrap it in aluminium foil
4. Put in a tray and roast for 1¼ hr at 200º
Baked potatoes
Serves 5
Ingredients: 10 potatoes
salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
3 garlic cloves
Preparation :
1. Cut the potatoes in quarters
2. Boil the potatoes in salted water for 5 mins
3. Place the potatoes in a tray and sprinkle the salt the pepper and grinded garlic
4. Bake for 40mins at 180º
Boiled red cabbage
Serves 5
Ingredients: ½Kg red cabbage
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
The juice of one lemon
1 apple
1 cup sultanas
Preparation :
1. Shred the cabbage
2. Boil the cabbage for 5mins
3. Let it cool down
4. Grind the apple
5. Mix the cabbage with the other ingredients
