Yazidi Survivors

I saw many people, old people, grandparents, children all dead on the road. Their relatives left the bodies behind because they had to run, they had to escape.

You can only help the ones who are alive, you cannot do anything about the dead.

I saw kids, newborn babies, one month, two month old dead on the mountains and on the side of the road to Syria. More than 300 kids died on the way.

We didn’t have anything with us, we were walking for 36 hours and we were very very tired.
